Pally facts
What is Pally?
Pally is an AI personal assistant that lives in your texts. It works over iMessage on iPhone, iPad, and Mac and over RCS on Android. Pally also connects WhatsApp as an inbox it can triage.
There is no app to install and no account signup. You text a phone number. Pally is made by Pally, a Y Combinator-backed company, and its website is pally.com.

Connections
What Pally connects to
Pally connects to iMessage, WhatsApp, Gmail, Outlook, iCloud, Google Calendar, Docs, Sheets, and Drive, Notion, Linear, Slack, GitHub, Jira, Todoist, Splitwise, Granola, X, and the live web, and the list keeps growing. It can also answer money questions from a bank account you link (read-only), sign into almost any website through a secure browser session, and take on custom integrations you add yourself. WhatsApp is the one worth connecting first because it lets Pally catch you up on your chats, flag the messages that actually matter, and send replies once you've approved them. You choose what to turn on, and Pally only ever uses what you've connected.
Actions and safety
How Pally takes action
Yes. Pally searches the live web, digs into research, drafts messages, tracks your follow-ups, and can sign into your accounts through a secure browser link you log into yourself. It never sees or stores your passwords or codes. It can even complete a booking, order, or purchase for you, paying with a single-use virtual card capped at exactly what you approved. Anything that leaves your world, like a message to someone else, a purchase, or a calendar invite, is shown to you word-for-word and only happens after you say go.
On Max, Pally can also call businesses for the user.
Privacy
How Pally handles data
Privacy is the point. Pally is built to hold personal context. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and AI processing happens with Anthropic and OpenAI under their own privacy policies; they don't train their models on your data. You decide what to connect, approve, delete, and disconnect, and anything from outside your world is treated as information to read, never instructions to act on. Visit pally.com/privacy for the full picture.
Limitations
