Fixing a rare crash that could make Pally go silent on a request and never follow up, especially when a reply included shopping or product links. Messages hit by it were dropped instead of answered; that's being fixed so every message gets a reply or an honest status update.

Fixed a WhatsApp bug where sending to a contact you hadn't chatted with yet could fail right after you connected WhatsApp. When a number can't receive WhatsApp messages at all, Pally now tells you that instead of giving a vague error.

New features

The pally.com website has a new Recipes section: ready-made routines you can start with one text, each with a live demo of how the conversation goes. Browse them at pally.com/recipes.
You can now give Pally one-time access to your whole home folder when setting up Mac access, so it doesn't need to ask folder by folder.
You can now sign out of all devices at once from the dashboard's Settings page.

Improvements

When the Mac companion can't show the folder access window, Pally now tells you how to grant access instead of pointing you at a prompt that never appears.
Pally's texting now runs on a new, more reliable iMessage backbone for new conversations. Android (RCS/SMS) support is on the way as part of the same upgrade.
Signing in to the my.pally.com dashboard is much less annoying: you'll stay signed in while you're active, see far fewer "sign in again" interruptions, and land right back where you were after a re-sign-in.

When your Mac companion app is too old for something you asked for, like granting folder access, Pally now tells you it needs an update instead of reporting an unclear failure.

Bug fixes

Fixed a bug where asking Pally for access to Mac folders like Desktop or Documents always failed without ever showing the Grant Access window on your Mac.
Fixed a bug where running Mac terminal commands in home folders like Desktop could fail because Pally had to guess your Mac username. Pally also says clearly now when a folder doesn't exist on your Mac.
When you ask Pally to send a calendar invite for a call or meeting with someone, it now actually invites them: it looks up their email, or asks you who should be on the invite, instead of quietly creating an event on your calendar alone. Plain "add this to my calendar" requests stay instant and private.
Fixed a bug where Slack alert automations could get stuck retrying when Slack rate limits them, quietly using up far more of your plan than they should.
Fixed a bug where WhatsApp contact syncing could silently stop updating what Pally remembers about some of your contacts.

You can now set your own approval rules in plain language, like letting small purchases go through without your sign-off, and Pally applies them across email, messaging, and shopping.
Pally can now work with photos you send it, like resizing, cropping, or converting an image, and sends the result right back in chat.

Improvements

Pally now keeps a warm, affectionate tone with you once that's the vibe of your chats, instead of slipping back into flat, businesslike replies for reminders and quick lookups. Asking Pally to be sweeter or nicer now sticks for good, and Pally keeps learning how you like it to sound from how you text it.
Pally is snappier in chat: shorter answers by default, tighter lists instead of walls of bubbles, and a slightly more casual voice that adapts to how you actually text.
Pally second-guesses its own honest replies less often: redundant layers that could rewrite or pad a perfectly good answer are gone, keeping only the checks that catch real mistakes.

Pally can now reschedule and cancel events on your Apple (iCloud) calendar, not just create them.
You can now connect Microsoft Teams through the secure browser, and one Microsoft sign-in covers Outlook and Teams together.

Getting started is now show-not-tell: connect your first accounts and Pally comes back having already done one useful thing with them, like a first inbox triage with a drafted reply ready, instead of only suggesting what it could do.

People you actually meet with are now contacts: external attendees from your calendar get remembered like the people you text, so Pally recognizes them next time. Email alone never creates a contact.
Pally now looks for the workflows you do by hand, in whatever apps you actually use, and offers to take them over end to end, including apps you haven't connected yet. When you connect a new platform, its first look includes anything it can start doing for you there.
Pally now spots inbox routines worth taking over: piles of cold outreach it can archive for you in one go, or noticing you always forward receipts to the same place and offering to handle that from now on.
You can now grant Pally access to a Mac folder right from chat: approve it in the thread and ordinary folders are ready instantly, with no need to open the Mac app. For Apple-protected folders like Documents or Desktop, Pally raises the Mac's own Allow prompt for you, and you can optionally unlock your home folder once there so future folders never need another Mac prompt.

Fixed a bug where replies in the same Pally conversation could come from different phone numbers instead of staying on the number you originally messaged. Everything Pally sends you, including reminders and scheduled updates, now always comes from your original Pally number.
Pally's phone number is now guaranteed at a deeper level: if Pally can't confirm which number is yours, it holds the message and alerts the team instead of ever texting you from a second number.
Fixed approval handling so multiple WhatsApp drafts can be queued together, and an older draft no longer blocks a different request.
Pally now consistently knows it can understand voice notes, including when you ask before sending one.
Fixed a bug where asking Pally to cancel everything and stop texting you only canceled some automations. That request now fully opts you out, including built-in proactive messages.
