Your Mac, from anywhere
Left something open at home? Pally can look at your Mac's screen, find the file, and run the next step with your ok.
With pally's Mac companion app installed, your computer stops being somewhere you have to be. Pally can see the screen, check what's running, reach files in folders you've granted, and take the next step in your apps. Looking never needs a sign-off; anything that changes the Mac waits for your ok.
The routine
How it works
Install the pally companion app on your Mac and grant it what you want pally to reach: the screen, specific folders, your Apple Photos library, or terminal control. Each grant is yours to give and take back, and pally can only work within what you have allowed.
Ask what is happening whenever you are away from the desk. Pally can look at the screen and tell you what is open, check whether the long export finished, or read a file from a granted folder. Looking and reading are read-only, so those answers come back without an approval step.
When you want something done, pally shows you the exact action first: the app step it will take or the precise terminal command it will run. It acts after you say go, then reports the real result rather than assuming the step worked. Provably read-only commands skip the ask entirely.
The Mac stays yours to steer from the same thread. Send a follow-up step, ask for a screenshot of the result, have a photo from your library or a file texted to you, or tell pally to leave the machine alone. Revoke any grant in the companion app whenever you want.

Common questions
What do I need to set up first?+
Install pally's companion app on your Mac and grant the pieces you want to use: Screen Recording and Accessibility for seeing and operating the screen, folder access for files, and terminal control for commands. You choose the grants, and each can be revoked at any time.
Will pally change things on my Mac without asking?+
No. Looking at the screen, checking status, and reading granted files never change anything and never need a sign-off. An action that changes the Mac, such as an app step or a command with side effects, is shown to you and runs after you approve it.
Does my Mac need to be on?+
Yes. The companion works while your Mac is on and connected. If the Mac is asleep or offline when you ask, pally tells you it cannot reach it instead of quietly doing nothing.
