How it works

Send pally the flight number and travel date before you head out. That is enough to identify the trip, and pally can confirm the route and scheduled time back to you so you know it is watching the right flight rather than one with a similar number.

Behind the scenes, pally checks the airline's live flight data for movement. It looks for the changes that affect your day at the airport, including a delay, a different gate, or a schedule shift that makes the original plan stale.

When the airline reports a change, the update reaches you as a text in iMessage. You do not have to keep refreshing a status page just to learn that the gate moved while you were walking across the terminal or that departure slipped before you left home.

Reply to ask for the current state, confirm which detail changed, or tell pally to stop watching after the trip. If your plans change to another flight, give it the new number and date so the watch follows the journey you are actually taking.
