Todo catcher
Every "can you…" buried in a busy thread becomes a task pally tracks. Nothing slips.
Commitments hide in group chats. Point pally at a thread and everything you agree to becomes a tracked task, with check-ins that know the difference between done and forgotten.
The routine
How it works
Point pally at the iMessage or Slack conversation where work keeps getting assigned. Tell it to watch for commitments with your name on them, including the casual versions that rarely look like formal tasks: can you send this, I'll review that, or let's have you call the venue.
As the thread moves, pally turns those promises into a current list with the available owner, due date, and context. It can notice both direct requests and things you agreed to do, while keeping the original conversation close enough that a short task still makes sense later.
Ask what is open whenever you need a clean view. Pally can separate newly captured work from items already finished, call out a deadline mentioned in the thread, and check in on tasks that appear forgotten. Mark something done or correct the wording with a reply.
The list can lead directly into action without becoming another project system to tend. Ask which task is most urgent, request help drafting the next message, or change which conversation is watched. When a next step would message somebody, pally shows it to you before it goes out.

Common questions
Which conversations can todo catcher watch?+
This recipe works with the iMessage and Slack threads you choose. Name the conversation and what should count as your task, and you can change or stop that watch when the project ends.
How does pally know a task is mine?+
It looks for direct requests, your name, and commitments you make in the thread. If an item is unclear, you can correct the owner or wording in a reply instead of letting an uncertain task sit on the list.
What happens when I finish something?+
Tell pally the item is done and it leaves the open list. If you ask for help finishing a message-based task, anything that leaves your world is shown for approval before it is sent.
