Meeting memory

Every decision, owner, and open question from your meetings, remembered and answerable.

With your meeting notes connected, pally can answer the question every team asks weekly: what did we actually decide? Decisions, owners, and open threads, pulled from what was really said.

The routine

How it works

Connect the Granola notes you already rely on and ask pally about a meeting in ordinary language. A title, person, topic, or rough time is usually enough to identify the conversation. Calendar context helps distinguish similarly named meetings when your week has several versions of the same call.

Pally reads what was actually captured in the meeting notes and pulls out the parts that tend to disappear afterward: decisions, owners, action items, objections, and questions nobody closed. You can ask for one meeting or look across several without opening each note separately.

The first answer stays concise, but it is not a dead-end summary. Follow up with who volunteered, what argument changed the decision, or whether a date was agreed. Because the meeting remains in context, pally can move from the headline to the supporting detail without another search prompt.

Use the same memory later when work starts to drift. Ask what remains open from this week's calls, compare a current question with an earlier decision, or request the exact passage behind a disputed recollection. The answer stays tied to Granola and Calendar rather than filling gaps with a guess.

A useful fit

Good for

  • Recovering decisions after a dense week of calls
  • Checking who owns each follow-up
  • Finding open questions before the next meeting
  • Revisiting an objection without replaying the whole conversation
  • Separating what was discussed from what was actually decided

Text it naturally

Things to try

what did we decide in yesterday's pricing meeting?
who owns the follow-ups from my last three calls?
show me the open questions from this week's product meetings
what did chris actually say about the rollout?

Common questions

Does pally record my meetings?+

This recipe works from the Granola meeting notes you connect; it does not claim to create a recording itself. Calendar supplies event context so pally can locate the right meeting and answer from the notes that are already there.

Can I ask about more than one meeting?+

Yes. Ask for decisions, owners, or loose ends across a day or week, and pally can bring the relevant meetings together. If two events are ambiguous, add a person, project, or approximate date to narrow the search.

What if I need the wording behind an answer?+

Ask pally to pull the supporting passage from the Granola notes. It can move from a short synthesis to the specific meeting context, which is useful when the distinction between an idea and a decision matters.
