How it works
Describe the digest in your own words and name the time and the days. It might be pre-market numbers and a watchlist, your industry and its competitors, the five newsletters piling up unread, or local news. One text sets it up; you do not rebuild the request each morning.
Each morning pally reads fresh rather than replaying yesterday. It looks things up on the web for news and numbers, reads the newsletters sitting in your connected inbox, and works out what is genuinely new against what is the same story rewritten by four outlets.
The result is one message short enough to read standing up. If a section had nothing worth reporting, it says so in a line instead of padding it out, so the length of the digest tracks the news rather than the schedule it arrives on.
Then it is a conversation, not a feed. Ask what a line means, get the source, go deeper on one story, add a sector, drop a section, or move the time. You can run more than one digest, like markets before the commute and an industry roundup at five.
