Trip mode
Tell pally about the trip once and everything adjusts: briefs, weather, and reminders follow the city you wake up in.
Your assistant should know you're in Lisbon. Tell pally about a trip and your morning brief, weather, and reminder times all anchor to where you actually are, while it keeps an eye on home.
The routine
How it works
Before you leave, tell pally the city and dates for the trip and ask it to put your routines into trip mode. Calendar gives it the shape of where the day is anchored, while iMessage stays the place where briefs, reminders, and updates reach you.
Pally shifts the timing of the routines named in your request to the city where you wake up. A morning brief can arrive in the local morning, weather can match the trip, and a reminder tied to a Calendar event can land at the useful local time instead of following the clock back home.
The travel-day message brings those adjustments together without pretending home disappeared. Pally can still surface a date or commitment you told it not to lose, while making the meeting times in front of you easier to understand from the place you are currently in.
Plans rarely stay fixed, so trip mode is conversational. Reply that you extended the stay, moved to another city, want tomorrow's brief later, or need one reminder kept on home time. When you return, tell pally the trip is over and your ordinary rhythm can resume.

Common questions
What details should I give pally before the trip?+
Share the destination and travel dates, plus which routines should follow you. If one Calendar event or reminder must stay tied to home time, call that out so the exception is clear.
Can I change the schedule after I arrive?+
Yes. Reply in iMessage with a later brief, a new city, or revised trip dates and pally can adjust the active routine. You do not have to predict the whole trip correctly when you set it up.
Will trip mode forget things happening at home?+
No. The recipe can keep an eye on the home commitments you have asked pally to remember while shifting the delivery of travel routines to local time. Tell it which home dates are important enough to surface during the trip.
