Catch me up on the group
Muted the group for a day? Pally tells you what got decided, what changed, and what's being asked of you.
The routine
How it works
A busy group can bury the one message that was for you under two hundred that weren't. Ask Pally what you missed, and it gives you the decisions, the changes, and anything you're on the hook for.
- In a group Pally is in, ask it what you missed.
- You get the short version: what got decided, what changed, and any question or job with your name on it.
- For an iMessage group Pally isn't in, connect the Pally Mac app and ask in your private chat.
The full routine
In a group Pally is in, ask it what you missed. Pally keeps the group's decisions, plans, and open loops, so it answers from the whole thread.
You get the short version: what got decided, what changed, and any question or job with your name on it. The rest of the chatter stays out.
For an iMessage group Pally isn't in, connect the Pally Mac app and ask in your private chat. Pally reads the thread and replies in it when you tell it to.
Good for
- Groups you muted for a day
- Coming back from a flight to 200 messages
- Finding the one question that was for you
- Plans that changed three times since lunch
- Sports teams, parents' groups, and family chats

Common questions
Does the whole group see my catch-up?
If you ask in the group, yes. Pally answers there only from what the group itself said.
Can Pally catch me up on a group it isn't in?
Yes, for iMessage with the Pally Mac app connected, or for WhatsApp once you connect it. Pally reads the thread and tells you privately.
Will Pally reply to the group for me?
Yes. Tell Pally what to say and it posts it. Ask for a draft first if you want to see the words.
