Find a time
Pally checks the group's calendars, finds the nights everyone is free, and puts the winner on each person's own calendar.
The routine
How it works
Forty messages of "i could do tuesday maybe" and still no date. Ask Pally in the group: it checks the calendars people share with it, asks the rest, and names a time that works for everyone.
- Ask in the group for a time and give Pally the range: a weekend, a weeknight next month, a two-hour slot.
- Pally checks free and busy for each member who shares it.
- Pally posts the times that work for everyone and settles on one.
The full routine
Ask in the group for a time and give Pally the range: a weekend, a weeknight next month, a two-hour slot.
Pally checks free and busy for each member who shares it. It never shows meeting titles in the group. For anyone it can't see, it asks in the thread.
Pally posts the times that work for everyone and settles on one. Members who use Pally can have it added to their own calendar.
Good for
- Book clubs, dinners, and reunions
- Picking a weekend for a trip
- Groups where half the people won't share a calendar
- Moving a plan when someone drops out
- Ending the date thread in one message

Common questions
Can the group see my calendar?
No. The group sees only free and busy, never your event titles. Each member decides what their own Pally may share.
What if someone doesn't use Pally?
Pally asks them in the thread and counts their answer like everyone else's.
Does Pally add the plan to everyone's calendar?
Only for the people who ask. Each person's own Pally adds it to their own calendar.
