Picture this

Describe the image you're imagining and pally generates it, right there in the thread.

The birthday invite needs art, the group chat needs the perfect absurd image, and you are not opening a design tool for either. Describe what you want and pally generates the image and sends it back in the chat.

The routine

How it works

Text pally a description of the image you want, the way you would explain it to a friend who draws. Mention the subject, the mood, and anything practical about how you will use it, such as leaving space for text or keeping it square. You do not need prompt-writing tricks; a plain sentence is enough to start.

Pally generates the image and sends it back in the same iMessage conversation. There is no app to open and no file to export; the result arrives as a picture in the thread, ready to look at, save, or forward wherever it needs to go.

The first version is a draft, not a verdict. Reply with what should change: a different style, another color, more of one element, less of another. Pally keeps your original description in context, so each revision builds on what you already said instead of starting from scratch.

When one idea needs several forms, ask for variations from the same thread. You might want the invite version, a square version for a group chat, and a simpler one to print. Each finished image comes back in the conversation, so the whole set stays in one place.

A useful fit

Good for

  • Making art for an invitation or event announcement
  • Creating the perfectly specific image a group chat deserves
  • Illustrating an idea you can describe but not draw
  • Trying several visual styles before settling on one
  • Getting a usable image without opening a design tool

Text it naturally

Things to try

generate an image of a picnic in the park for a birthday invite
make it more illustrated and add balloons
same idea but square, for the group chat
try a watercolor version of that last one

Common questions

How detailed does my description need to be?+

A plain sentence works. Say what the image shows, the feeling you want, and any practical constraint like shape or space for text. If something important is ambiguous, pally can ask before generating rather than guessing.

What if the first image isn't right?+

Reply with the change you want and pally revises from there. Your earlier description stays in context, so you can adjust one thing at a time instead of re-explaining the whole idea.

How is this different from the photo fixer recipe?+

Photo fixer edits a real photo you already have: cropping, resizing, converting. This recipe creates a new image from your description. If you want an existing photo adjusted rather than something generated, that recipe is the better fit.
