Photo fixer
Text a photo, say what you need: resized, cropped, converted, and right back in the chat.
The listing wants a square JPEG under 5MB and your phone made a 12MB portrait. Text pally the photo and the problem. It does the resizing, cropping, and converting, and sends the result straight back.
The routine
How it works
Send the photo to pally in iMessage and describe the requirement that is blocking you. Ask for a square crop, a smaller file, a different image format, or a combination. Concrete constraints such as a maximum size and required shape help pally return something ready for the destination.
Pally applies the requested resize, crop, compression, or conversion and sends the finished image back in the same conversation. It reports the useful output details, such as the resulting format and file size, so you can tell whether it meets the listing or upload requirement before leaving the chat.
If the first crop chooses the wrong emphasis, keep steering it. Ask to preserve more of the top, make a landscape version, reduce the file further, or convert the existing result rather than resending the original. The image and your prior constraints stay together in the thread.
Use separate instructions for separate deliverables when one photo needs several homes. You might keep one square version for a listing and request another dimension afterward. Pally returns each finished file directly; it does not claim to upload the image into another app on behalf of this recipe.
A useful fit
Good for
- Cropping a phone portrait into a square
- Reducing an image below an upload limit
- Converting a photo to JPEG
- Making a second version with different dimensions
- Checking the output size before uploading elsewhere

Common questions
What edits can I ask for?+
This recipe covers resizing, cropping, compressing, and converting a photo sent through iMessage. State the required dimensions, shape, format, or file limit when you know them, and pally can combine those adjustments in one result.
What if the crop is not quite right?+
Reply with what should stay in frame or how the composition should shift. Pally can revise the current image in context, so you do not need to start over with a new explanation for every adjustment.
Will pally upload the finished image for me?+
This recipe sends the edited file back through iMessage for you to use. It confirms practical output details, but the evidence here does not promise an upload to a listing site or another destination.
