Appointment hunter
The DMV slot, the booked-out specialist, the full swim class: pally watches for the cancellation and takes it.
Good appointment slots open when somebody else cancels, usually at a random hour on a Tuesday. Pally keeps checking the booking page for as long as it takes, grabs the slot the moment it appears, and cancels the far-off one you were stuck with.
The routine
How it works
Tell pally what you are trying to book and the window that would actually help: sooner than three weeks, mornings only, or this location and no other. Where a slot exists far out, pally books it first as a floor, so the hunt can only improve on something you already hold.
From there it watches the booking page for you, signing in with a saved login where the system needs an account. This runs quietly as a background task over days. There is no tab to leave open and no refreshing at midnight to see whether somebody dropped their slot.
When a slot inside your rule appears, pally books it immediately rather than asking, because cancellation slots vanish in seconds and a question would cost you the appointment. Then it cancels the old one so you are never holding two, and puts the new one on your calendar.
Everything stays adjustable in the thread. Widen the window, add a second clinic or office, switch to afternoons, or call the watch off because the Thursday one is fine. Pally only texts you when it books something or when a real decision needs you.

Common questions
How often does pally check?+
Often enough to catch a slot, for as long as the watch is open. It runs as a background task over days and stays silent in between, so a text from this recipe means it booked something or it needs a decision.
Will it book without asking me?+
You approve the rule once: the window, the location, and the times of day that work. Inside that rule pally books immediately, because asking first loses the slot. Anything outside the rule comes back to you as a question.
What about systems that need my account?+
Pally signs in with the login you saved. If the booking needs a code sent to your phone or an identity check only you can pass, it stops and asks you for that one step rather than pretending it went through.
